In May 2020, play.fiba3x3.com changed its database provider for city and country information. At this time, all existing hometowns were converted to the new data scheme, and it is possible that the conversion led to your FIBA 3x3 profile having a hometown, which is different than what you entered yourself.
You can change the hometown by
- logging in to your profile at play.fiba3x3.com/login
- clicking your name top right
- clicking Edit
- searching for the correct city
- clicking Save
